AI, robots, digital: a question of energy
Servers, algorithms, robots, data centers... Behind artificial intelligence lies an often overlooked reality: massive energy consumption.
The Watt's Up Robot exhibition plunges you into the heart of digital and robotics to help you understand how these technologies work and what impact they have on our daily lives.
Normandy plays a key role here. Thanks to its major energy infrastructures, it produces reliable, controllable, low-carbon electricity, essential to the development of AI and digital technologies. A territorial strength that places the region at the heart of tomorrow's energy and technological challenges.
An interactive journey to discover nuclear professions
As part of the 3NC - Normandie Nucléaire Nouvelles Compétences project, the Agence de l'Orientation et des Métiers has designed an interactive, participatory journey, aimed primarily at students in grades 4 to 12, but accessible to all.
Introducing this experience, go behind the scenes of the construction of a nuclear power plant and discover, step by step, the trades and know-how that make reliable, low-carbon energy possible.
Then, through three playful modules, the exhibition breaks down preconceived ideas and invites you to discover a dynamic industry rich in opportunities:
Cliché vs Reality: an interactive table to vote, debate and deconstruct preconceived ideas about nuclear power.
Jobs don't have faces: a visual survey and quizzes to show that technical and scientific jobs are open to all.
What are nuclear jobs made of?: an exploration of skills and job families to better project yourself into future careers.
The tour concludes with testimonials from professionals through the video series Osez mon métier, which gives a voice to those who work in the nuclear industry on a daily basis and share their career path, their profession and their vision of the future.
Why come and see this exhibition?
The future of nuclear power and energy is being built here in Normandy. Between major industrial projects, digital innovation and the energy transition, skills needs are considerable.
This exhibition is an opportunity to understand that nuclear professions are at the heart of today's and tomorrow's challenges, and that they offer numerous professional opportunities, accessible through a variety of career paths.
